Track & Field Camps - Summer 2025

The UNH Track & Field program is offering two unique camps this summer!

The UNH Track and Field Camps offer students entering Grades 7-12 the opportunity to improve in track and field events. These are a "learn by doing" camps. All athletes should come prepared to participate. Bring shorts and shoes (and track spikes if the student has them). We will provide all other implements, and students are welcome to bring their own if they have them. In addition, athletes will have the opportunity to train on one of the best indoor and outdoor track and field facilities in the Northeast.

The Track and Field Camp focuses on the fundamentals of technique and training for all the sprints, jumps, hurdles, and throws (shot put & discus) at the middle and high school level. All sprinters, jumpers, hurdlers and throwers will learn from the staff of one of the most successful collegiate track and field programs in New England. What will be coached at this camp? All sprints, jumps, hurdles and throws (shot put & discus) events in Track & Field (everything except the middle distance and distance events, pole vault, javelin & hammer throw).

The Track and Field Distance Running Camp is perfect for anyone looking to improve in middle distance, distance running event or cross-country! This camp focuses on the fundamentals of technique and training for all middle, distance, and cross-country runners. It is for anyone looking to train and compete in 880m, 1600m, 3200m, or XC. There will be a variety of running surfaces.

Camps are held at the Reginald Atkins Track & Field Facility and the Paul Sweet Oval, premiere venues which have hosted numerous America East, Collegiate New England, and NH High School Championships. Details regarding drop off locations, times, and other information is sent from program staff via email to enrolled participants before the session start date. Please be sure the email address provided during enrollment is that of a parent/legal guardian, not the participating student.

Per NCAA rules, the University of New Hampshire's athletic camps or clinics are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).

Wait List: If a section of this program becomes full, a wait list option will be open May 1-June 1 or until the wait list is full. Enrolling on a wait list from a Family Account is not currently supported. We recommend you attempt to log into your student's account and read the instructions for enrolling on a wait list prior to May 1: Enrolling on a Wait List. The Wait List, if needed, will not open until May 1. Please note that we are not able to provide information about a student's position on the wait list or the likelihood they will be invited to enroll.

How to Enroll

Click the '+' on the registration block(s) to enroll. Review the Online Registration Instructions before enrolling for the best outcome. This includes instructions for creating a Family or Student/Individual account.

Family Accounts are recommended for enrolling multiple children from one family in any UNH Youth Program. If you already have an account in our system, you will be asked to log into either a Family or Student Account after adding the program to your shopping cart. Be sure to use the username and password for the type of account you wish to log into. We recommend attempting to log into the Student or Family account before enrollment opens as this will minimize difficulty and time while enrolling. Email youth.programs@kllkj.net if you require assistance recovering your account information. Do not create a new account if you have one already.

If you don't have an account already, you can set up an account at any time, even before you begin the registration process. If creating a student account, the account profile should be in the name of the participating student, but the email should be that of a parent/guardian. Review the Online Registration Instructions before creating a new account.

UNH has partnered with CampDoc to quicken the enrollment process. Enrollments and payments are done here through our current enrollment system, but no registration questions will be required at that time. Within a few days of enrolling, the email provided in the student or family account will receive an email prompting completion of the registration questions.

Please note that overnight camp roommate requests are done during the CampDoc process, not at the time of enrollment.

It is important that a parent/guardian responds to the CampDoc email and completes the registration questions promptly. Families who enrolled a child in a UNH Youth Program in Summer 2023 or after will likely already have a CampDoc account. Even if the student already has a CampDoc account, a parent/guardian should log into the student's account each time they enroll in a program to review and complete any necessary questions for a program or year.

All registration questions must be 100% complete in CampDoc before a student can attend a youth program.

For more information review our CampDoc page.

For assistance in creating a CampDoc account or logging into an existing account, call the CampDoc support line at: 734-619-8300, option 2.

Track & Field Camp and Distance Running Camp are held on the Reginald Atkins Outdoor Track and the Paul Sweet Indoor Oval.

Both facilities are located at the UNH Field House, 145 Main St., Durham, NH: Travel to Durham

Specific check in location and directions will be on the camp website and/or sent to participants prior to the session start date.
